The Redhawks return A LOT from last season including Keagan Chambers (11.0 ppg/2.9 arpg/2.7 spg), Bryson Simpkins (10.1 ppg/6.0 rpg) and Jordan Young (9.0 ppg/3.0 apg). Chambers (3rd Team All-UCHoops) and Young(2023-24 UCHoops Special Mention) are seniors and there isn’t anything better than a senior backcourt. Simpkins, a junior wing will be asked to rebound more. Sophomore Micha Allen (5.9 ppg/2.6 rpg) is coming off a productive year as a freshman and will need to expand his role for coach Johnny Sowell. Senior guard Zavion Ivey (5.0 ppg/3.7 rpg) will be in the backcourt rotation for Monroe this season. The RedHawks open the 2024-25 season hosting Union Academy on Dec. 13th.
