The Cavs lost their top two scorers from last season and will need someone to take on that role heading into the 20024-25 season. Senior Luke Nelson and junior Grady Webb should be up for the task. The 6’4 Nelson (8.3 ppg/3.1 rpg) is long and can defend. Webb (7.5 ppg/4.1 rpg/31% from 3) has a scorer’s mentality and can shoot the lights out. 6’5 senior wing Chandler Heyward (3.3 ppg/5.3 rpg) will be asked to step up his scoring more and protect the rim. Keep an eye on junior guard Chase Nali, he’s a scorer. The Cavs open the 2024-25 season on the road at Parkwood on Nov 19th.
