The 2023-24 UnionCountyHoops.com's Coach of the Year is Weddington's Gary Ellington. Coach Ellington led the Warriors to a 23-6 record, a Southern Carolina Conference Title, Southern Carolina Conference Tournament Title and into the 3rd round of the state playoffs. Coach Ellington won his 300th game this season. Congrats Coach Ellington!

The 2023-24 UnionCountyHoops.com's Girls Coach of the Year is Marvin Ridge's Steve Lenahan. Coach Lenahan was named SCC Coach of the Year while leading the Mavericks to a 24-6 record, a Co-SCC title, a SCC Conference Tournament Title and into the Elite-8 of the state playoffs for the 1st time in school history. Coach Lenahan recorded his 100th win at Marvin Ridge this season. Congrats Coach Lenahan!!!
