The 2025-26 UnionCountyHoops.com's 6th-Man of the year is Sun Valley’s Jy’ceon Patterson. Patterson, a junior came off the bench for Coach Jensen and the Spartans and averaged 5.8 ppg along with 2.1 rpg and 2.0 assists per game. Scored double figures in 4 games including a season high 18 points twice (vs. C. Catholic/Pageland Central). Patterson scored 14 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in playoff road win over Asheboro. Had 7 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the win over Gray Stone Day. Patterson helped the Spartans to a11-16 record and into the 2nd round of the 6A state playoffs. Congratulations Jy’ceon!

The 2025-26 UnionCountyHoops.com's 6th woman of the year is Marvin Ridge’s Allie Heine. Ms. Heine played in all 28 games for the Mavericks as a junior and averaged 4.0 ppg and 2.0 assists per game. Scored a season high 8 points twice in the state playoffs. Had a season high of 6 assists in a win over Cuthbertson. Racked up 5 assists in a game 4 times for Coach Steve Lenahan and the Mavericks. Helped Marvin Ridge to a record 5th straight SCC Title, a 23-5 record and into the Elite-8. Congratulations Allie!!
