The Cardinals will return almost everyone from last season for head coach Nikki Young. Junior FW Paisley Boatright returns after averaging a double-double and leading Union Co. in rebounding (12.6 rpg) while being named 2nd Team All-UCHoops last season. Sophomore wing Jaiden Thompson averaged 18.4 ppg/6.3 rpg/2.3 spg despite missing 14 games with a broken wrist while being named to the UCHoops All-Newcomer Team. Junior wing Ranon Suttle impressed everyone after a 13.6 ppg/4.6 rpg/2.1 spg season as a sophomore. Senior wing Shelby Brooks will add more leadership (4.8 ppg/6.2 rpg/2.2 apg). The Cardinals open the 2023-24 season hosting Cuthbertson on Nov. 17th.
